Session packs are R149 for 10 sessions and anyone with an account can buy one; pack sessions are used after your monthly allowance and expire 36 months after purchase.

Plus renews monthly until cancelled. The free trial never renews and never charges you automatically; after it ends, sessions pause until you subscribe to Plus or buy a session pack, and you can do either anytime from your billing settings, which also show your current plan if you're subscribed.

Good to know

  • You're only charged a session when one is created, never when you replay it.
  • Every new account starts with 2 months of Plus free, no card. After the trial, sessions pause until you subscribe to Plus (R249 a month) or buy a session pack (R149 for 10 sessions), and nothing ever charges automatically.
  • No account needed for your first session, and it can include one document upload: PDFs and photos up to 1 MB and 10 pages. That upload lasts for the visit only (about 2 hours), so sign in to keep your documents.
  • Every session costs real compute, so each plan includes a set number of sessions a month instead of billing by the minute.
  • Cancelling stops your next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Payments are processed securely by Paystack (cards and instant EFT); your card details never touch our servers.
  • Prices are in rand, and the total shown is the total charged, with no added fees at checkout.

Plan changes and renewals.

Upgrading

Upgrading to Plus starts a fresh month immediately with the full 20-session allowance. Your new month starts the moment the upgrade is paid, so nothing you used on the old plan is subtracted from the new allowance.

Downgrading

Downgrades start on your next renewal, so you keep what you've already paid for until then. Your used sessions stay used, and the lower cap applies from that reset.

Replay & interrupting

Replay is always free on every plan. Revisiting a session you've already made never costs a session, no matter which tier you're on, and neither does interrupting mid-session to ask a question. The tutor stops, answers, and picks up from the exact spot.

Renewals

Sessions reset every month: 20 during your free trial and 20 on Plus. After the trial there is no free monthly allowance, so sessions pause until you subscribe to Plus or buy a session pack. That's when any scheduled plan change applies, and a renewal never breaks a session in progress. The plan you're on when the month rolls over decides the allowance after it. Check the meter on the session screen in the days before a renewal to see exactly where you stand.
